Arman Voskerchyan, co-founder of HENAR Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, noted that PReP is a unique example of the coming together of different institutes and organizations for the sake of one goal during the official reception dedicated to the launch of the project.
"I am very happy that we, together with our partners, were able to bring a new model of clinical residency to Armenia, which was never used in our country," stressed Arman Voskerchyan.
First Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia Lena Nanushyan highlighted the importance of training new professional personnel.
"In many areas, the human factor is gradually decreasing, but the greatest resource in the healthcare sector is people, and if they do not have the necessary knowledge, it will be very difficult to ensure children's health," the deputy minister noted.
Pediatrician Eyal Ben-Isaac, a representative of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, in turn called on the residents to take the maximum from the starting program, because the best conditions have been created for them, and the best specialists have started the work.
Lorki Libaridyan, the director of the Clinical Residency Program of Pediatrics in Armenia, noted that the children of Armenia are of the highest value and should have the opportunity to receive the best medical care in Armenia, and this idea is the basis of the program.
"We studied the international experience, identified the best approaches and concentrated them in our program," said the director of the program.
